Bakery has been so bloody busy! Woo Hoo!!

Nothing but work and sleep...

Today had to run to Nicoya to get another pouch of 25KG of flour 

as 100KG was not enough for the week!

Closed January 1st...Can't wait LOL

Arno & I left around noon yesterday to come to SJO to run errands...

Picking up toys for Samara Info Center toy drive! Having fun being an elf LOL

Got most things done and will be heading out this morning and do a few more errands and then head for home!

We were freezing last evening/night! It was about 17-18 C you would have thought it was -10 the way we were shivering!

First Friday yesterday...then had to stop in at Hula Jungla for a Sarpe

 (means last one and I am going home here)

Yesterday was a brutal Pura Vida day running errands and

 standing in endless lines...

Glad we got everything done!

Fun day off, had to meet Brenda & Chris to be a witness for and their former landlords 

as they moved to a new location

Only problem was we met at 6am!!!

At least they bought me breakfast afterwards at Lo Que Hay on the beach!

Then Patti my neighbour invited me for lunch to thank me

 for watching her place while she was in the States

So we had a late lunch at Gusto Beach...

Then we went over to Monte Laguna to Brooke & Jim's to watch the Grey Cup!

Spent yesterday making 20 pumpkin pies!

So yesterday was Daniela my employee's 23 rd Bday on the 23rd of Nov.

So I can into work around 10am with a bottle of champagne and a jug of OJ 

to teach her about Champagne birthdays...

Later I went to her house for her party

Her family were all impressed that her Gringa Boss came to her party!

Barbie and Forest French couple who stayed with Arno last Christmas were here again,

Drove my car in early afternoon, crossed the river no worries...

Daniela took 3pm bus home and called to tell me the bus crossed the new bridge!!!

Complete on Wednesday like they said!

Decided to leave my car at home today and caught a ride in and back with Arno's guests...

On the way back tonight the river crossing looks pretty patted down, lots of traffic...

Well...lots of excitement in Carrillo, since the bridge known as the crocodile bridge was damaged they are replacing it!

Heard about it around 2pm when my employee only got half way home 

because the bus cannot pass again...

They are taking out the old bridge and putting in a new one!

This was the detour...when I went through Scott was there it was dark...so I stopped and walked to the river and asked where I needed to go, then went for it!

No problem!

As I got to the other side I heard Scott holler "That's a Canadian girl!!" LOL

Well off to a great start with Ivan the Nica I hired to finish up some of the work...He showed up this morning at 7am as he said but with his eye swollen shut, he was stung by a bee!!!

So off to the hospital he goes to get it looked at...

Getting the new location finished is proving to be VERY frustrating!!!!

I hired Scott to do the work because he is Canadian, does good work and is efficient...

Well he used to be...

I gave him this work to do in July...it is now November and it's not done.

I spoke with him yesterday and told him I will be pulling in a Tico to do some of the work because I am not confident he will get it finished by Friday afternoon...

He just seems to have taken on more jobs than he can handle...
