Moving Day!

Success in Liberia!
Was able to get sheets for $30 a set...
Not so good for Halloween though!

Was able to find candies but zero on the decor and costume front...will see what I can put together...

Finishing packing and heading over to new place to do a quick cleaning and start moving in!!!!

Well...so much for going to SJO tomorrow!
No one wants to or can go and I am not into going by myself...so i am going to try my luck in Liberia!
See what we can find!

EXCITED!!!! Just found out kids will be "Trick or Treating" here on Thursday night so we are going to get dressed up and hand out some candies!
Any of you who know me well know how much I love Halloween!!!

Beautiful Sunday morning! 28 C at 7 AM ! 

Bakery was is surprisingly busy this weekend...Awesome!

Next week I will be busy moving, first going to San Jose on Tuesday to pick up some things I will need, sheets...then booked off Wednesday & Thursday as well to move over and set up my new pad!

For now off to work, going in early so Xinia can leave as it is her eldest son's 1st communion today.

Well...never made it to Nicoya the other day...So going late this am after opening the bakery today.
I have decided to put off the windshield repair for a while as the crack is on the passenger side and my RTV annual inspection is not due until August and to pass a good windshield is required...
So later for that!
Still have to go run errands in Nicoya thought today!

Next week San Jose!

Off to Nicoya tomorrow morning to see about getting my windshield replaced...it was it by a stone and the crack is growing!
Should be an adventure I am sure!

Bakery is picking up, booking a few wedding cakes for later in the season which is great

Well that sucked!
Worked to early shift and then ran some errands and started some packing.
hopped a shower and decided a quick nap around 6pm before I head out...woke up at midnight!!!
So missed going out...
Oh well!
Off to lunch with Shannon today and then dinner tonight at Arno's with his friends from France that are visiting

Well my wish came through! It cleared up around lunch time!
So Brenda and I went and walked all of Carrillo Beach there and back and then went for a swim in the pool (Brenda doesn't like to swim in the ocean!)
Working early shift today at the bakery and then looking forward to going to see a new band in town have their debut at Zen Den this evening, I think everyone will come out to support them!

Yesterday & today are my days off...Yesterday was sunny first thing in the morning but had to go run errands in Nicoya, it rained from 9am on all day!
Just woke up this morning to rain again!!!!!
Look like the kind that lasts all day too...
Going to grab a book I guess

Lots of action on Sunday in Samara! Annual clean up around town!
Picking up illegals, busted the cat house in Montepalo and the laudry in town where are the drug dealers used to hang out lol

So moving back up to Carrillo at the end of the month!
Going to be living off the soccer field, apartment is twice as big and $200 less a month! No brainer...
This way I have an extra queen bed and a couch for guests!!

Well been opened for a few days...not overly busy which I expected!

Arno & I went for two beers to Zen Den on Tuesday night because the power was out and oh my!

Imagine we had more than two LMAO

This weekend should be decent as it is a long weekend here

Xinia came in at like 2am so by the time I got here at 7am most everything was up front and ready...

Sent her home before 9am...

Pretty quiet around town but hopefully people come out LOL

Spending the day doing absolutely nothing! Last day of vacation for a while!

Finished my 3rd book that I have read during the vacation

That fridge was Gross!!!!!!!

The girls did most of the cleaning as I had to run into Nicoya to get the fridge serviced as it is still under warranty...Service is 8 to 10 days, bloody AWESOME!!!!!

Went to Arno's for dinner and to Hula for a couple of beers

Trip to Nicoya was uneventful... Same detour as last year when the same bridge was out

When I got back to Samara, popped into the bakery to drop off some purchases only to find my less than 1 year old fridge in the kitchen died probably the day after we closed two weeks ago! Smelt like we were storing dead bodies!!!

Was not prepared for this mess so returned in the morning with the girls to get in cleaned up

Headed for Zen Den for some afternoon cocktails with the First Fridays gang. Awesome turn out!

Well! Hello October, lots of rain this week...figures I am off!

Been chilling, reading a few books, which is nice since I don't always get a lot of time for reading...

Tomorrow off to Nicoya to drop off paperwork at accountant's and run a few errands, trip will take longer as a bridge about half way in a town called Camithal that washed away about a year ago and was replaced washed away again!
Awesome construction!!!!
Tomorrow afternoon going to Zen Den for First Friday with Arno & Brenda, look out! LMAO
