Well nothing too exciting going on these days...low season...

Get up, go for a walk at the beach, take a shower, do some bookkeeping...hang out...go to the bakery for about 2pm and close at 5pm...every other night head to Bar Arriba and watch some hockey...

We are still in it...next game on Thursday!

Well time off is not all free...

Did a run to Nosara yesterday to deliver a wedding cake...

Slightly stressful since it's a REALLY bad road!

Cake was delivered without incident but almost got hit by a mango when taking cake out of the car!!!

Are you kidding me that bad road and then get a mango dropped on the cake!!

It was close!

Game one this afternoon sucked!!!

Oh well now they can win the cup at home as Gwen says LOL

So my car went into the shop yesterday for repairs from the accident...

So it will be the bus for me for a few days!!!

OK so this could be the record fastest repair job in Costa Rica LMAO! The owner of the body shop has the hots for me...who doesn't apparently?? I left the bakery at 10:30am to go drop the car off, walk across Nicoya and hopefully catch the noon bus back so hopefully at the bakery for 1pm...so I told me staff...well...the owner offers me a ride to the bus station...great! then drives right by it...I say uh you missed the turn he says no I will drive you all the way LMAO...So the conversation was full of innuendos as much as I got in Spanish...pays to pretend you just don't understand LOL When we pull up to the bakery I say can you please have the car ready for Tuesday? I am off for a few days starting Wed. He says what would I get if I have the car back to you tomorrow??? I smile and said well for sure my gratitude and you never know maybe a little something sweet...I walk into the bakery at noon and the staff are like how did you get back so soon???

So I plan on giving him an Alfajore if the car is here tomorrowLOL

Oh yeah, 27 yrs old, married with 2 children, 40 yr old mistress with his 7 month old child...What a catch!!!!!!

Super fun evening yesterday after a crazy "Day off"

So had to go deliver a few cakes left with both around 11am from the bakery, go to deliver the first one a birthday cake at El sueno Tropicale and the other cake a wedding cake is on it's side!!!!

Too much Dulce de LEche and the cake slid apart...

So back to the bakery for repairs...delivered only 15 minutes late not bad!

Then went to watch game 2 at Bar Arriba only place to watch it in town...

On my way in I ran into Mike a guy from Newmarket who just moved here, his wife is arriving in a month or so...he is a true Habs hater so he came with me to catch the 3rd period and grab a burger...

So after they lost I went home for a nap and then met Daniela and her family, Brenda & Chris & Mike at Carrillo beach for a free concert after the bike races were over.

We then went to Tucan for some pizza.

Wow busy afternoon yesterday! 

Had a bus full of teenagers from Georgia, about 40 kids come in slam!

Lots of ice cream, etc...

I am sure it was because I wanted to be at Bar Ariba for 5pm to watch the hockey game!

Made it just as they scored the first goal!!!!

This weekend is busy with a bike race in Carrillo and a wedding tomorrow...
