The ladies made it here safe, stopped at the Hula for a pizza and one drink...first time for everything!
Went to Samara for lunch and to pick up a few things at the grocery store

off to the airport this afternoon to pick up my mom and aunt Donna, should be a fun couple of weeks!

Crazy night!!
Full moon!
Well I was going to behave last night...those are always the best nights!
Was laying in bed watching TV when my phone rang and Barbara says Joannie there's a friend of yours here looking for you (funny how people look for me at the Hula LOL)
It was a guy Brian that I met a few weeks ago from Toronto, so she put him on the phone and you know...I said I will be there in 30 minutes...
So off to the Hula I went...there was a water fight between me and Flavio (not sure how that started...) Barbara showing of the pineapples and then a wicked rain storm with lots of wind and lighting so Barbara had to sleep over as she could not get a cab and Flavio only had his motorcycle...

Lots of thunder and lightning last night here but Samara got all the rain. At least it cooled things off a bit last night! You could tell yesterday that we were going to get a storm, the humidity was unbearable!
Off to Samara to pick up a few things this morning

Just spent a quiet day lounging by the pool, reading...
Heading into Samara later to pick up a few things and confirm my car rental for when mom and Donna arrive on Friday!

Well not such a quiet night after all!
Walked up to the Hula for a beer and ended up at the Tucan and then to Diria with Janet the owner of the Tucan!
Definitely made the rounds!
