Wow big nap!
Taking possession of the bakery at 6pm tonight.
Off to Samara in a bit to grab some lunch with Ana and then over to the bakery!

June 29

Sitting at Pearson waiting for my plane to board for Miami, then on to Liberia!
Straight into the bank to check the transfer went through and then over to meet the lawyer and finalize the deal. Bakery should be mine by 6pm tonight!
Made it back to CR.
Just on my way to meet up with the lawyer!

June 28

Fun day in Mississauga!
Met up with some good friends at Scruffy's!
Today off to run some errands, pick up a few things for the bakery, swing by GNJ at lunch time for the Canada Day BBQ!!!

Then off to see Monica to get my hair done!! Priorities people!!

Meeting Donna at 5-6 pm at Swiss Chalet for a little 1/4 chicken!!
Swiss Chalet was Yummy!!
Donna made me some cute aprons for the bakery!
For Anabella, Xinia and me with our name embroidered on them. So cute!!
All packed, having a beer and then off to get a few zzz's before heading to the airport at 3:30 am!
Back to Costa Rica I go!!

June 27

Well made it to Mississauga at 2am!!
Just getting ready to head for the bank! Wish me luck!
Will post my itinerary once I know what is going on!

Alright at Liberia airport having my last cold Imperial for a few days on my way to TO!!!
Flight already delayed from Atlanta in to TO arriving at 1:10am now!!
Tight busy schedule but hope to see as many people as I can, hoping to be at Scuffy's patio at Hwy 10 & Eglinton Wednesday or Thursday evening!
Will post tomorrow as soon as I see what happens at the bank...

Well what a Monday morning this is!!!!!!!!!
It seems that transferring money from Canada to CR is way more complicated than anticipated!
Looks like I will be doing a quick round trip flight to TO tomorrow! Coming back Thursday!
Ok arriving Tuesday midnight. Staying at Mo's Where Joanna lives in Mississauga.
Have a rental car so I can get around!!!
Hope to have drinks at Scruffy's on Wednesday or Thursday evening, hopefully everyone can stop by for a quick visit!
Will know better once I hit the bank on Wednesday morning!!

Busy Saturday!
Ran into Samara for a few errands with Anabella.
Then came home and Ana and I made dinner, Arno came over to join us.
Had some pumpkin quesadillas, then a bunch of different grilled veggies and steak on the BBQ.
Anabella made a mango mousse for dessert.
Then we headed up to Hula Jungla for a couple of beers.
So happy to say Havier is finally back in Carrillo since his accident in February. Really good to see him although he still has a long road ahead of him...

Well I have a bank card!!!!!
Got paperwork stating where my money is coming from and how I acquired it...I guess money laundering is a big issue in CR!!
Hopefully all goes smoothly next week...

As we were heading to the bank the other day we had to stop for a monkey crossing!

Well it seems the bank is my new hang out LOL
Must go back again today but I should have a bank account open today!
Things are complicated here...opening a bank account has taken a week!!!!!!!
CR has taught me patience!

Wow!
Anabella and I went to Vela Latina on the beach after inventory last night to celebrate...
Ouch!!
When we got home to Carrillo the power was out until 8am this morning from about 10pm last night
Back to Samara today to go to the bank
VERY EXCITED!!!!!!!!

Off to Samara this morning for yet another meeting!!
It's all good getting things done..

Spent all day with lawyer, landlord, etc...
Heading back to Samara for 5pm to do inventory

So it's official I take possession of a small bakery in Samara on July 1st!!!!!!!
The one on the main drag in Samara at the "T" in town.
Now I will be a masterbaker! LMAO

Quiet Sunday spent by the pool...
Should have news in the next day or two about a business in Samara...Hopefully everything goes through and I will be a small business owner by the end of the week!!!

Went over to Arno's last night for dinner. Anabella cooked up a storm!
Then stopped in at the Hula on my walk home "for one" Ha!
Got home at 4am!!

Went into Samara with Rob, Margarita and Anabella to run errands yesterday, then Ana and I came back to the house and cooked ourselves some dinner and had a quiet night.

And this is Chase the dog Krissi adopted, I am taking care of him while they are in USA, pretty chilled relaxed dog, I think he is grateful someone took him in!

Fun evening last night at La Tropicale, Arno has a group of 9 young people from Montreal that are from all over the world in for a week.
We all had dinner and some drinks together.
I went over this am to help them get breakfast out for the group
Anabella and I spent the afternoon napping by the pool.
Good life!

Big old party at Hakuna Matata yesterday!
Travis and Krissi threw a big party before they left this morning tons of food and beers!
Moved back over to the house this morning, just chilling by the pool

Fun night last night Billy and I went to El Colibri for dinner and then met up with the gang over at the Hula
We are off to Samara for groceries and some lunch

June 6

Another fun day in CR!
On our way to catch the bus there were monkeys on the road, cool for Billy to see

Took Billy to Pablito's for beers and Boca then we went to Vela Latina on the beach where 6 beers in a bucket of ice is $10.

Once we got back to La Tropicale Arno had prepared us a beautiful dinner as always tomato and egg salad to start, ribs and vegetables and then some flambeed bananas for desert

First night with Billy was fun!
Drank some beers...
Arno made us a fantastic dinner of Fish and Calamari pate to start, then chicken and vegetables.
Then a beautiful fruit pizza for dessert
Off to Samara to take Billy to Pablito for some Boca!

Just got in from picking up Billy in Liberia

Arno got guests late last night so we were up early this am giving him a hand to get them breakfast
good to have something to do!!
My friend Billy is flying in tomorrow, very last minute, booked flight last night
Should be a fun week, hence last night was a very quiet night!!
