Made it home safe and sound around 6pm last night.
Today chilling...it was a long trip back to home!

Slept in this morning, then wrapped up some shopping, late check out at the hotel and an 11pm bus ride to the border! Woo Hoo!

Grab some breakfast downstairs in our hotel and head for the mall!
We meet up with a friend of Arno's Alexis who works as a tour guide, perfect!
We wrap up shopping for the day, swing by the hotel to drop off our purchases and head for the
Panama Canal

Alexis really knew a lot about the Canal! Very interesting!
This was a simulator feeling like you were on a ship going through the canal!
Outside for a quick shot of the canal and then of course a cold beer! LOL
Then we were off to the Old Town Panama City, lots of beautiful old buildings. They are restoring the whole area, to buy a place in ruins is about $1000 Sq. foot!
And you have to restore it as per the rules of restoration!
An average apartment 1000 Sq ft goes for about $1500 a month and up
What is really cool as that when you have a view of the bay,
you see across the bay and it is all skyscrapers and modern

Alexis took us to a really nice restaurant for dinner in the old district, food was delicious!
