Wow need to start building an arc and rounding up animals two by two if this continues!!

The rain for the last couple of weeks has been unbelievable!

Bridge washed out in Santa Cruz on the way to Liberia...luckily not main bridge as they are saying 4 -5 month for replacement!

Last night when I left the bakery to go home around 7:30pm was mud slide on the road, this is as slick as black ice!

So trip to Canada should be interesting, main purpose is to get my birth certificate and police record so I can apply for residency upon my return...

So I have a "long birth certificate" but the issue date needs to be less than 6 months!
I try to apply on line for it to be delivered to Donna's by the time I get there, Oh No!!!
You must have filed your income tax return in the province of Quebec to get it on line, must appear in person in Montreal!!
Need to get police report ordered in TO prior to heading to MTL...hopefully Donna can pick it up and courier it to me so I don't have to go back to TO...
May have to pick up birth certificate in Quebec City...
Then once I have both these pieces of paperwork I thought I just had to take them to the Costa Rica Embassy to get stamped but Oh No!! First I must get them authenticated at foreign affairs Canada!
LMAO not sure if two weeks is going to be enough time for all this CRAP!!!!!

Should be entertaining to say the least!

Long round trip to San Jose yesterday to meet with Lawyer at Casa Canada for my residency.
Now have a list a page long of paperwork to round up!
Unseasonable amount of rain for this time of year here...crazy downpours most of day yesterday
Tree down in the road, mudslides...good times!!
Hope the weather is warmer when I hit Canada or Arno & I will be big bad whiners!!!

I wish my camera recorded sound! There has been so much rain I cannot hear the TV for the frogs right now, it is ridiculous!!

Not a bad day yesterday at the bakery...last minute people coming in...keeping me here late! It's all good!

So heading into TO on May 31 going to make the round including a visit to my mom's in PQ.

Nice easy weekend so far..Triathlon in Samara so bit more business...

Great lunch on the beach yesterday with Brenda at Locanda, just sucks to have to go to work afterwards!

We are into rainy season now, which here means it rains most afternoons for about an hour..sunny and hot the rest of the time!

Well enjoyed my days off, too bad weather on Caribbean side at Puerto Viejo did not cooperate!
Rained the whole time we were there...at least it's warm!

Beautiful scenery through a National Park right through the jungle, but you cannot stop! Seems there are a lot of people that disappear in these parts!
Can you say Deliverance!!!

Glad to be back home where it's warm and sunny and a nicer beach too

Good to go visit these places but glad to come back to Samara & Carrillo everytime!

Martin used to work for me as a p/t waiter at Esperanza and did the art
 work on the walls of the bakery

allergies are doing better...limiting my bread intake...

Good day off yesterday, went to Nicoya and had a blood test to see if everything was ok with me with all these allergic reactions.
Got the results this am, all is normal!
Have not had a reaction in a couple of days now and have not taken anti histamines last 2 days either...
Watching my flour intake, sure hope I have not made myself allergic to bread!!!

Looking forward to a weekend off...going to San Jose on Sunday to a party, then Monday am Arno, Alan & I are heading to Puerto Viejo on the Caribean side for a night to check it out, should be fun!

Bakery is staying steady, the girls and I are enjoying working shorter hour and some extra days off!
Well deserved break!

Awesome to close early yesterday! Only a couple of hours but was nice to get out before dark!

Still trying to figure out what this allergy is, funny thing is in speaking with people I have now met 4 people who have a similar allergy and don't know why either!
